Join the Orchard Valley community for our Winter Concert: The Journey of Halima.
December 21st, 6pm, Montpelier High School Auditorium
The story for this year's concert is based on The Journey of Halima—a book and theater project created to empower refugee children in Greece. This story draws inspiration from Syrian folk tales and was written in an effort to help refugee children give voice to their experience while fostering healing, connection and tolerance of differences.
On December 1st, Grades 1-4 will walk the Winter Spiral, guided by their 5th grade angels. We will gather as a community to honor the darkness and welcome back the light. New this year: New this year: We welcome OVWS alumni, friends, and extended community to walk the Winter Spiral at 6:15pm. Please join us in filling the darkness with light.
The start of school is just around the corner! The School Warming is a tradition at Orchard Valley where parents, faculty, and staff gather as a community to honor the physical space of our school and set good intentions for our children this coming year.
