Orchard Valley Waldorf School has a dynamic faculty and staff with a diverse mix of life and work experiences and educational backgrounds. The school is located in Central Vermont, a region of rich natural beauty that offers a wide range of family-oriented and recreational opportunities. The state capitol of Montpelier, home to many cultural and recreational events, is just 15 minutes from our main campus. We serve a wide range of families, drawing students from the Central Vermont counties of Washington, Lamoille, Caledonia, and Orange. The local chapter of the Anthroposophical Society, the Green Mountain Branch, sponsors study groups, festivals, and conferences.

Lead Toddler Teacher

This position is a full-time, year-round position open at our Little Lambs early care center in Montpelier serving children 18 months - 3 years.

Kindergarten Assistants

Orchard Valley Waldorf School is looking for Early Childhood assistant teachers for the 2018-19 school year for our Mixed-age Kindergartens serving children ages 3-6. The hours are from 7:45am to 3:15pm, following a typical school calendar.

Teacher, Apple Blossom Toddler Program, Child's Garden campus

This position is a part-time (with the possibility of full-time), lead classroom teacher for our morning toddler program for children ages 2 – 3.5 years for the 2018-19 school year following the school calendar.

Aftercare Teacher & Summer Camp Director, East Montpelier Main Campus

This position is a full-time, year-round, salaried position serving children ages 3-6 years to begin on July 1, 2018.

Substitutes: We are always looking for qualified substitute teachers for all of our programs and classes.
