Early Childhood Aftercare Assistant Teacher
Orchard Valley Waldorf School in East Montpelier, Vermont, is seeking a creative and nurturing early childhood assistant teacher who enjoys working with children and has an infectious enthusiasm for experiencing nature and an interest in outdoor curriculum.
Our aftercare program is an extension of our morning programs and offers children a nurturing, play-filled afternoon experience. Students from the morning classes come together for a social lunch brought from home, followed by rest, then outdoor play time on our beautiful campus. The afternoon assistant helps to create and hold the rhythm of the afternoon and tends to the needs of the children.
Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in Waldorf education, at least one year of experience working with children ages 3-6, and a 3-credit college course in child development or comparable course.

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher
Little Lambs is seeking a full-time assistant teacher for our mixed age toddler classroom with children from 18 months through three and a half years old.
We are seeking candidates who are warm, nurturing, kind, and patient. Must be willing to sit on the ground, sing with children, and play outside in all weather. Candidate should have strong work ethic, be excited to come to work, and have a love of young children. Experience in Waldorf early childhood education is appreciated, but not required. We are willing to train candidates interested in learning specific philosophies and methods of working with children. We are ideally looking for candidates who have three credits in early childhood education or child development.
