Programs

We have grades 1 through 8, preschool, kindergarten, parent/toddler programs and a free playgroup at our East Montpelier campus. In Montpelier, the Child’s Garden houses an early childhood center with a preschool and toddler class. Our classes are small with maximum class sizes of 18 to 20 students in the grades (average class size is currently 15), 18 in kindergarten, 12 in nursery and 15 at the Child’s Garden. In addition to the main lesson teacher (in the grades programs), we also have subject teachers for French, handwork, woodworking, movement, music and guilds in the fine and practical arts for grades 7 and 8.

During the academic year we offer Open Houses for the early education programs and an evening event, Windows on Waldorf, as an introduction to our grade school programs. We offer in school Observation Mornings for all programs for parents and Student Visits for applicants to the Grade School. Please contact us as we can make arrangements to accommodate your schedule for Observation Mornings and Student Visits.
