Observation Mornings

Early Education

We schedule observation mornings for the Nursery and Kindergarten at the main campus and the Mixed-Age Early Childhood Program at the Child’s Garden.  An observation of the early education programs lasts about 15 minutes. We prefer to schedule these during the free play portion of the morning, but we can be flexible to work with parents’ availability.

We do not do observation mornings for the Apple Blossom Nursery class at the Child’s Garden. Rather we schedule a time to meet with the teacher at the end of the morning program.

Grades

Observation mornings are for parents only. For an observation morning in the grade school classrooms, we prefer visitors to arrive by 8:20am so that you can also see the morning verse and greeting as well as main lesson. Parents observe during main lesson portion of the day which occurs from 8:30 to 10:15am. The classes will break for snack and recess around 10:15-10:30am at which time the Enrollment Coordinator can join the parents and teacher to answer any questions which may have come up as a result of the morning.

Please call to schedule a time to observe our classes. We need to coordinate observation mornings around field trips, play rehearsals and other special events.
