We are often asked, “where do your students go when they graduate?” As a young school, we have graduated two eighth grade classes. Our graduates have gone on to both private and public schools after OVWS. So far, our students have gone on to Hazen Union High School, Montpelier High School, U32 High School, Northfield High School, Lake Champlain Waldorf School, High Mowing Waldorf School in Wilton, NH, and St. Johnsbury Academy.

If you come to our festivals, you are very likely to see our graduates back here on campus getting together and catching up on their latest experiences with each other and their former teachers. Our first eighth grade graduates will graduate from high school this year in 2012. We are all very excited to see what they will do next and where their life’s journey will take them!
“By the time they reach us at the college and university level, Waldorf students are grounded broadly and deeply and have a remarkable enthusiasm for learning. Such students possess the eye of a discoverer and the compassionate heart of a reformer, which, when joined to a task, can change the planet.”
— Dr. Arthur Zajonc, Associate Professor of Physics, Amherst College
